Colyton Methodist Church is situated in a small, historic rural town which has a village atmosphere.
The congregation is mostly retired and the morning service is usually traditional. This is a warm fellowship with a good support network. Visitors often attend. There are good links with the Parish Church and each hold a united Healing Service once a month. For certain annual services such as Remembrance Sunday and Christian Aid, the Methodists unite with the Parish Church. The Women’s Fellowship enjoys a variety of speakers and is open to all.

We continue to love and support each other particularly as some of us have faced a few difficulties. We still do our best to reach out to the wider community.
In May 2017 we had a successful gardening event when we tackled our rather overgrown garden at the rear of the church. All of us joined in, some from the community as well and we had a lovely day working and sharing a social occasion including a good lunch.
